IMQA2014 was successfully finished.

Thanks to all participants and supporting staffs, IMQA2014 in Chiba University was successfully finished. Fifty-four participants from seven countries were attended.

“Student Presentation Award” was awarded to

  • Dorin Gutu (University of Toyama), “A Study of the Relationship between Subjective Image Quality Assessment Scores and Facial Electromyograms”
  • Kiyoya Inamine (Chiba University), “An Evaluation on Biological Effects of OLED and LED Lightings for Calculation and Reading Tasks”

And “Overseas Student Award of Outstanding Presentation” was awarded to

  • Yibing Zhan (Univ. of Science and Technology of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China), “Binary Logic: A Strategy to Detect Structure Distortion in Image Quality Assessment”
